The Soundshop Studios has been an integral part of the recording business for more than thirty years. In the early 1970's, Soundshop was among the first studios in Nashville to offer 24-track recording with automated mixing catering to such clients as: Paul McCartney and Wings, Dolly Parton, Bobby Bare, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Dobie Gray, Jack Palance, Exile, Grand Funk Railroand (Phoenix), Dinah Shore, Burt Reynolds, James Brown, Jimmy Dean, Joe Tex, John Hartford, Millie Jackson, Neil Young (Comes A Time), Loretta Lynn, Bobby Goldsboro,Shel Silverstein, Tanya Tucker, Mel Tillis, Eddie Arnold, Bobby Vinton, Lee Greenwood, T.G. Sheppard, Johnny Rivers, Marty Robbins, Doug Kershaw, Jerry Reed, Aretha Franklin, Roger Miller, Ronnie McDowell, Razzy Bailey, Crystal Gayle, Chet Atkins, Willie Nelson and Wilson Pickett just to name a few.
In the 1990's thru 2000's, Soundshop became the first Nashville studio to offer in-house 48-track digital recording. In 1999, The Soundshop was purchased by longtime Producer / Engineer / Studio manager Mike Bradley and Producer / Songwriter Don Cook.
In 2000, we added Digidesign's Pro Tools. We constantly upgrade our facilities and improve our services to make sure that Soundshop clients get what they need to stay at the top of the charts. And on the top of the charts is where you'll find our clients.
Conveniently located at the top of Nashville's Music Row, Soundshop boasts two fully-epuipped studios, each having it's own unique characteristics.
Soundshop Studios is keeping pace with Nashville's rapidly growing music industry. And, as always, we continue to maintain a comfortable, reasonably priced, state-of-the-art facillity where artists, producers, engineers and musicians can achieve their fullest potential.
